Investment Philosophy
Asset Allocation has been the cornerstone of investment professionals for years. Our question to you is how has the asset allocation model worked for you these past 10 years? If you're like a lot of people perhaps it hasn't. In fact if you followed the advice of some pundits you invested in no load indexed mutual funds perhaps based on the S&P 500. If this is the case you most likely lost money over the past 10 year period. Our investment philosophy has not been a buy and hope strategy, but rather to build a core holding of flexible and absolute return funds then flesh out the rest of the portfolio with other asset specific mutual funds and ETFs. How does this strategy work? While no one can predict the market this philosophy allows for flexibility in the face of market volitility. Unlike a lot of other mutual funds that have no choice but to stay invested in the wrong asset class at the wrong time our money managers can seek out the asset classes that make the most sense in acheiving thier long term goals while trying to avoid market fluctuations. If this makes sense to you then contact us for further details
To understand why we follow the above philosophywe've included a piece about the last decade.

Life Philosophy
Life is a balancing act. We need to meet the needs and wants of life as it is today. Putting food on the table, a roof over our heads, a movie and dinner, and yes even a HD TV. The balance comes in when we realize that while we want to enjoy life today we need to prepare for emergencies, help those less fortuante than us, and set aside assets for the point in life where we no longer are earning income. Gaining this balance is one of the ways we help our clients. If you feel that your finncial lfe is out of kilter and want to have a frank discussion just contact us.
